Since 1961, Wolff’s Body Shop has been proud to serve Lewis County and the surrounding communities with reliable, high-quality auto repair. Founder Jim Wolff first opened the shop behind his home at 9850 Main Street in Croghan. In 1988, his sons Thomas and Ronald took over the family business, later relocating to our current location. Over the years, the shop has grown—expanding in 2000 and again in 2018—to better meet the needs of our customers.

A CONTINUED LEGACY

In 2013, ownership was passed to Scott Moshier, who has continued the Wolff family’s legacy of excellence. Under Scott’s leadership, we’ve invested in the latest technology and equipment to repair modern vehicles while keeping our customer-first approach at the heart of everything we do. Recently, we welcomed a dedicated office manager to help us provide an even smoother experience for our valued customers.

MEET THE WOLFF’S TEAM

SCOTT MOSHIER

OWNER
Scott has been the longtime employee and owner of Wolff’s Body Shop since 2000. Scott is married and has 6 children and 1 grandchild. He enjoys spending time with his close friends and family. He also enjoys traveling and taking care of his vehicles in his free time.
NICHOLAS MOSHIER

Nicholas is a special operations veteran with 3.5 years of military service. He is looking forward to stepping into a new profession and committing himself to the shop’s customers. Nicholas is married and together they enjoy camping and traveling. He is also an avid outdoorsman and likes weightlifting in his free time.
JADIEN KLINE

Jadien graduated from Beaver River Central School in 2022. He attended Howard G. Sackett Technical School in the Auto Body program. He interned at Wolff’s his senior year and was hired after high school. In his spare time, Jadien enjoys riding four wheeler and snowmobiling and enjoys working on his own vehicles.
JEFFREY COVEY

Jeff graduated from Carthage Central School in 1983. He is married and has two children. Jeff has worked in the auto collision field for 35 years. He enjoys his motorcycle along with hunting and fishing in his free time.
GREGORY DERMADY

Greg believes that family comes first. He loves spending time with his children. He also enjoys watching and playing sports, especially golf when the weather is nice. He is always striving to provide customers with the best service and experience possible.
CARLTON SCHERMERHORN

Carl has been in the collision field for 35 years, 10 of them at Wolff’s. He enjoys his work environment. He is married and has 2 children and 4 grandchildren. Carl loves spending time outdoors and with his family.
ZACHARY PELO

Zach has worked for over 10 years for Wolff’s. He was in the Auto Body Program at Boces and was hired directly after High School. He graduated from BRCS in 2013. Zach likes to go camping and fishing in his free time.
